This policy explains technologies stored or accessed on your device when using cantare.com.ro. The operator is DATA SPEED SRL, 115/33 Donath Street, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, VAT number RO 17394503, contact: office@cantare.com.ro.
1. Legal framework
Cookies are governed by Article 4(5) and (6) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004 and, where information relates to an identified or identifiable person, by the GDPR and Romanian Law no. 190/2018. Consent is generally required after clear information, except for technical storage used solely to transmit a communication or strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the user. The website currently uses only the strictly necessary category.
2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file kept by the browser for a set period. It may contain a random identifier, preference or security information. Session and security cookies support continuous navigation, form validation and prevention of fraudulent requests.

4. Technologies not currently used
The website currently loads no audience analytics, behavioural measurement, advertising, remarketing, profiling, social pixels or embedded maps/videos that place cookies before interaction. The banner therefore does not manufacture “accept all/reject all” choices. Acknowledgement records continuation with necessary functions only and is not marketing or analytics consent.
5. Banner and settings centre
The first visit displays a concise notice. “Continue with necessary cookies” saves ds_cookie_consent. “View details” shows the full list, and “Cookie settings” in the footer reopens the centre. Deleting ds_cookie_consent makes the notice appear again.
6. Browser controls
Your browser can display, block or delete site cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent forms, attack protection or confirmation messages from working. Controls are usually under Privacy or Cookies and site data in desktop and mobile browsers.
7. Future optional cookies
If analytics, marketing or other non-essential technologies are introduced, they will be blocked by default and loaded only after a free, specific, informed and unambiguous choice. Optional categories will not be preselected, rejection will be as accessible as acceptance, withdrawal will be available in settings, and this policy will identify providers, purposes, duration and relevant transfers before activation.
