Beginning with 2016 we started a new collaboration with the company LCM Systems from UK, a company specialized in production of load cells. Besides load cells, the company produce pressure sensors, displacement transducers, digital indicators, hand held indicators, amplifiers, conditioners, accessories for these equipments, etc.

We are pleased to distribuite the products of the British company on the Romanian market, equipments made in conformity with European quality standards.

Since 2016 we are pleased to distribute in Romania the equipments manufactured by the Italian company Mechus, specialized in medical and industrial weighing solutions, based on a team with vast experience in weighing systems.

Mechus company is part of Favero group that includes several companies that are mainly focused on the medical field.

As of July 1st 2016, SOLAS regulations require that the verified gross mass (VGM) of sea containers must be made known to the carrier company before loading them onto the ship. Determining the weight of a container two methods could be used, weighing the complete packed container or weighing the individual items in the container and add the container’s tare weight.

Safety of container ships is the reason for the amendments to SOLAS. In prior incidents 25% of loaded containers was reported overweight.

As a result of specialization our team by attending courses held by our supplier Kern & Sohn , Data Speed is recognized a premium consulting partner for the weighing and optical equipments.
